Yummy Almost Guiltless Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Crisps

I don't know about all the cold winter lovers out there but us warmer weather lovers are wishing spring and summer to come early! And with that bring on the fresh fruit! Until then- this will have to do...

Fruit Salad
(feel free to use the fruits you love)
1/2 green apple
1 mango
2 kiwi
Frozen Mixed Berry Bag (sm) thawed
Stevia (whatever sugar you prefer

I took all fruits and sliced them in small cubes with the exception of the blueberries (they are pesky little critters) and placed them in a bowl. Mixed them all up sprinkled a little Stevia powder on the top (I prefer more of the natural sweet) but the sugar helps make the fruit sweat.

Cinnamon Crisps:
Mini Flour Tortillas
Stick-O-Butter
Cinnamon (mixed sugar if desired)

In a toaster oven heat tortilla until brown remove on plate. Tale cube of butter either spreading or melting on tortilla and sprinkle with cinnamon. Let cool and cut in triangles. I let mine be a little soft and crunchy but however you desire is best!

I usually do not use store bought and make my own using rice flour BUT the cheapy store bought flour tortillas are BOMB!

Serve up and enjoy. Pretty inexpensive and not absolutely the worst thing to eat, especially when you cut calorie corners. Fresh sweet and flaky- YUM! The Boy even said it was delish! I will be using the leftovers to top our Crunchy French Toast for our brunch tomorrow morning <3

Hope you all are having a fantastic weekend!

The Sweetest Thank You Card!

Since we are on a card them these past couple of days...

I got the sweetest little personalized thank you card from my awesome neighbors, Matt and Maggie. I made their baby shower cake (picture below) and they made me one of the coolest most personalized cards! Can you tell Matt is an amazing photographer?! How cute are they seriously?! Love it!

Sometimes at the end of a difficult week at work you need something lke this to kick start a much happier and better weekend!

I might have to steal this if Mr. B and I have us some little kiddos!

Handmade and Heartfelt Valentine's Cards

Those of you who were inspired by my puffy paint-ing you're going to love these little handmade Valentine Cards <3

The items I used were some old cards that I had on clearance from long ago that were collecting dust. I grabbed a glue pen (Jo-Anns) in the scrapbooking section and I had some Martha (oh, Martha) extra fine glitter pack AND you guessed it- left over puffy paint!

I drew these up by hand but I'm sure there are lots of fun stencils and ideas out there. Pinterest, how I love theeeee!

A little look inside Fl(h)air Studios...

I have had a few people ask what my set-up looks like at home. So I thought I would share with everyone what "Fl(h)air Studios" really looks like. So come on downstairs to the Lady Cave and craft for a while.

In the bottom part of the house there was this awkward spot where it was a storage room that was also a laundry room. We really don't need a whole lot of room but Mr. B told me he would givve me a craft room so we converted this little space into Fl(h)air Studios. It is still a work in progress. I am constantly upgrading on organizing equiptment and try to craft some decorations. I love the clean white and natural colors but I think after taking this photo there needs to be more color! What do you think?

Here are the detailed shots. The room is too large to take all in one photo so here are some photos on the organizations for fabrics, buttons and rhinestones and more. I hope you enjoyed the little tour. I hope to inspire you to create your own little creative space to enjoy - I call it soul feeding - everyone should have healthy plate full of it everyday or at least once a week.

Happy Weekend! Yeah for Super Bowl Parties!

Sweet Little Valentines Cupcakes

I had an order for cupcakes from our favorite restaurant we always go to. The owner said be creative so I made Strawberry White Chocolate Bark and layered Strawberry Cupcake on top of the bark and finished the cake with a whipped White Chocolate Buttercream with fresh Strawberries and a Strawberry on top! It pretty much made Paula Deen run for the hill bc this sucker is no sugar/fat free and if I do say so myself- Strawberry BOMB-feakin- FANTASTIC!

What are you making for Valentine's Day?

Chalk it up!

Today afterschool once my little middle schoolers went home I decided to do a little chalk art for the school. I had one hour and a box of old chalks. And this is what I made!

After I finished, the assistant principal was so impressed he said they are going to hire me to do art work around the school! Yippppeee :)
