My latest obsession

With Farm Chicks right behind us these days it is quite the summertime around here! Last night I made my first (of many to come) hand beaded rhinestone appliques that are taking my old ones to a whole new level! OMG so sparkly! I decided I needed to wear mine to bed because this girl can't get enough of things that sparkle! I have them available to purchase right now in my shop. They are the ultimate sparkly piece to have for crafting and wedding!

I will be featuring more gorgeous bead colors including: pink champagne, opal gold, antique bronze, rose gold, chocolate and antique gold <3

Prettiest Chocolate Shop in Walla Walla

As my best friend was leaving after our amazing weekend in Walla Walla we happened to stumble by one last new shop in Walla Walla. This was BEAUTIFUL! A royal approved chocolate shop full if wine, chocolate and gifts! I was in awe of the gorgeous vintage recipe card boxes, handmade toasted coconut marshmallows, chocolate wine and strawberry champagne spritzers. The decor was gorgeous as well - crystal chandeliers, rich cream leather seating and gold plated mirrors and a bar! To die for!!! If you come to Walla Walla make sure this is a stop! Here's some eye candy for you to enjoy <3

I wanted to share what I have made for the Farm Chicks Show in Spokane, Washington during the first weekend in June! I am so excited to share and encourage the other gals out there balancing their day jobs, momma-hood and hobbies (like my amazing mom)!

Pretty Summer Birthday Celebration

My dearest friend Jackie had her birthday party yesterday/today and I wanted to make it extra special because she is also moving back to Palm Springs- rough, I know because I am going to miss her. So I took her favorite colors (pink and coral) and added some Fl(h)air (pun intended) with burlap and Tiffany blue. We made pulled chicken sandwiches and had pretty pink champagne cupcakes to top it off we sipped on keylime tequila floaters- YUM! If you would like recipes, let me know :)

Happy Weekend!

Teacher Appreciation Week

This week we are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week! I surprised my team with a nice breakfast/brunch for all of them! If you know a teacher or your kids have their favorite teacher make sure you let them know they are appreciated. I made sure to sample one of the blueberry donuts because I am part of the quality control division ;)

Our New Addition to the Family

No, no, I am not talking baby ;) I am talking our new German Exchange Teacher! His name is Chris and we are so lucky to have him live with us for four weeks! He greeted us jet lagged with smiles, funny stories and of course German chocolate! The man knows his way to a woman's heart!

We met up with the rest of his group in the park today. The host families sat around tables with their new students and we had such a fun time. The park was beautiful and the food was gone in a matter of minutes- I forget how much those kiddos can eat! Here are some fun photos I took while trying to control Lou on the leash. I hope you had a wonderful weekend :)

What I Wore: Skirt Shirt

I love creating looks and this little dress was calling my name. Bright colors - check, cool patterns - check, stretch material that's not clingy - check. The top of the dress? Not so much so I did what any crazy craft lady would do and I cut that top right off! It made the cutest skirt that is awesome for spring and summer.

And you know what? I couldn't find anything to wear (with a closet full of course) with my black maxi skirt and yellow cardigan. Insert my crafted skirt - ahem skirt tucked into my black maxi and it looked super cute. Double skirts unite!! Repurposing can the best strategy a girl can have sometimes <3
