Salty. Crunchy. Sweet. Salted Caramel Corn

Who doesn't love a sweet treat and the hidden salty flavor- Boo YA! My mouth and waist line was happy! I prefer more corn than caramel (which saves on the calories) but do what you love on this!

3/4 c Brown Sugar
6 tbsp Butter
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/3 tsp salt
2-3 bags microwave popcorn

1. Pop that microwave popcorn girls! Heat on medium heat a small pot.
2. Melt brown sugar, butter and salt together stirring until boil. Leave on medium heat for 5 minutes unstirred.
3. Place microwave popcorn (removing kernels as best as possible) in a large bowl. Go ahead try a couple to make sure it's good ;)
4. Once 5 min is up remove from heat add un vanilla and baking soda. It's going to foam up once the foam starts pour it over the popcorn. Stir it all together with whatever utensil you prefer. Let sit and kick those hard working feet and enjoy some "me" time! You deserve it :)

Happy Thursday! I can't wait for the weekend! What are your fun plans for St. Patty's Day?

German Chocolate Cake Frosting Recipe

I had 100 Hair orders this week and to add to the hectic schedule (because I am really bad at saying no) I decided to take on baking 4 orders!!!! I'm crazy and speaking of that these German Chocolate Cake Minis are CRAZY! Crazy good that is and here is the yummiest little frosting recipe. I only use organic everything but it makes this ultra yummy!

German Chocolate Frosting Recipe

1 cup of evaporated milk (I make mine from scratch using organic milk but can is easier)
1 cup sugar (I prefer brown)
3 egg whites whisked
1 cup chopped pecans (I use double)
2 1/2 cups shredded coconut
1 Budda (I said that wig my best Paula Deen impersonation)
1 tbsp vanilla

In a medium pot add milk, budda, sugar and egg whites. Stir up over medium heat until thick. Add in chopped pecans, coconut and vanilla. Stir it all up and make sure to taste it so you know it's that good!!!!

Let me know if you have any questions! New email is :)

Happy Friday!
