I was lucky to have grown up in a household where my parents loved to cook and bake. Our kitchen growing up was set in a large open space with a center island bar where we would hang out while mom and dad created yummy meals! I wanted to share a side dish from the Burke household that will pair wonderfully with your BBQ just in time for the warm spring/summer dinners :)
Ingredients:
1 pkg noodles (you can use whatever kind you like - heck even spaghetti - suit yourself)
2 sm. cans of sliced olives
1 package of diced ham
1 1/2 cups cubed cheese
3/4 cup pickles cubed
1/2 cup radish cubed
1/2 cup celery cubed
Dressing:
3/4 cup mayo
1 tbsp mustard
Splash of pickle juice
Pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Boil water in a pot follow directions on package. Once pasta is cooked and drained place in large bowl. Let cool in fridge until pasta is chilled
2. Remove chilled pasta from fridge. Add in all ingredients stir together and serve.
3. Pretty impressed that this recipe is only 2 directions - yeah me too ;)
Enjoy! Welcome new Vintage Wanna Bee fans :) I hope you had a wonderful weekend too!
