Salty. Crunchy. Sweet. Salted Caramel Corn
Who doesn't love a sweet treat and the hidden salty flavor- Boo YA! My mouth and waist line was happy! I prefer more corn than caramel (which saves on the calories) but do what you love on this!
Ingredients:
3/4 c Brown Sugar
6 tbsp Butter
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/3 tsp salt
2-3 bags microwave popcorn
Directions:
1. Pop that microwave popcorn girls! Heat on medium heat a small pot.
2. Melt brown sugar, butter and salt together stirring until boil. Leave on medium heat for 5 minutes unstirred.
3. Place microwave popcorn (removing kernels as best as possible) in a large bowl. Go ahead try a couple to make sure it's good ;)
4. Once 5 min is up remove from heat add un vanilla and baking soda. It's going to foam up once the foam starts pour it over the popcorn. Stir it all together with whatever utensil you prefer. Let sit and kick those hard working feet and enjoy some "me" time! You deserve it :)
Happy Thursday! I can't wait for the weekend! What are your fun plans for St. Patty's Day?
